Ambr® Analysis Module ambr analysis module

Add-On Capability for pH Calibration and Raman Spectroscopy for Ambr® Bioreactors

The analysis module provides add-on capability for at-line measurement of pH and optionally, Raman spectroscopy, for Ambr® 15 and Ambr® 250 High Throughput bioreactors. The pH measurement automates initial bioreactor vessel pH sensor calibration and subsequent in-process re-calibration, and eliminating the operator time needed for manual offline pH measurement, data transfer and bioreactor pH sensor recalibration.

BioPAT® Spectro in Ambr®

The BioPAT® Spectro Raman spectroscopy flow cell enables integration of 3rd party BioPAT® Spectro-specific Raman spectroscopy probes and data flows from Kaiser Optical Systems and Tornado Spectral Systems.

Advantages of the technology:

  • Automated data consolidation and contextualization of all spectral and process data into a SIMCA®-ready file for model building
  • Ambr®-built models are more robust due to the use of all process data and a big DoE design space
  • Ambr® can execute SIMCA® models to predict analyte concentrations

Ambr® Analysis Module benefits
  • Enables full automation of sample handling and assay read
  • Integration of 3rd party Raman spectroscopy probes and data flows
  • Frequent, accurate pH sensor recalibration
  • Reduces CO2 outgassing effects and errors compared to manual offline pH samples
  • User replaceable sensors (electrodes), Raman flow cells, and reagent kits
  • Reagent kits including calibration solutions, cleaning solutions and a waste container

Operation of the analysis module is supported by user replaceable sensors (electrodes), Raman flow cells, and reagent kits including calibration solutions, cleaning solutions and a waste container.
