Sartorius Stedim Biotech Royston site is recruiting for a variety of roles within this growing business
Sartorius Stedim Biotech (Royston site) designs and manufactures high-quality automated equipment for use in the booming biotech sector. Founded in 1989, the firm has grown steadily and has just boasted its best ever year for sales, with new products and many forward orders on the books for 2016.
Staff work in a modern, open-plan environment, alongside engineers and technicians from all industry sectors. Manufacturing is low-volume, typically 50 systems a year, and staff work as part of small assembly teams to produce automated systems ranging in value from £50,000 to £2,000,000.
One contributing factor is the growth in sales of the firm's innovative ambr® single-use bioreactor technology, which provides a range of scale-down models to develop robust, high performance bioprocesses to produce biologics and vaccines. The ambr range currently includes the ambr 15 micro bioreactor systems and the ambr 250 high throughput automated mini bioreactor system, which are viewed as the gold standard for this application in the biopharma industry.
If you’re currently working in machinery automation, automotive or aerospace industries for example, or you’re looking for your next career opportunity and you think you’d like to be part of a UK biotech manufacturing success then get in contact with Sartorius today to apply directly for one of the positions on offer.
